Zubin-R: KWPN registered
national champion of 2007 BEF Futurity. His scores were 9.5 for type, 9.5 for
confirmation, 9.75 for correctness of gaits and the perfect 10 for his
athleticism over a fence. This gave him an average score of 9.5 leading to him
having the highest score of all three disciplines. Zubin-R our national champion
– his pedigree speaks for itself!
Lupicor-H:
He is a KWPN champion stallion who competed at international level show jumping.
He has sired six approved champion stallions, is recognised in five different
stud books and is ranking 5th in the German breeding index and his
dam is a keur mare.
Jourdette-:
She ranks 39th in the Dutch breeding index for mares and has competed
in international show jumping up to 1.40m.
Lux:
is the grandsire of Zubin-R and is one of the most successful living stallions
in international show jumping. Ridden by Jerry Smit Lux participated in the 2000
Sydney Olympics won the Pulsar Crown in Valkenswarrd and Cannes bringing his winnings well in excess of
1 million euros. He is the sire of many great stallions – Niveau, Nobility,
Luxius to name but a few
Perra:
She is the grand dam of Lux and is responsible for Lord Calando and the world
famous Olympic horse Carthago-Z who was ridden internationally by Jos Lansink.
He finished in individual 11th place on the 1996 Atlanta Olympic games. In 1997/ 1998 his
breeding index was 182 points. He sired Cobra who was Champion at the world
championships 2007 and reserve champion in 2002.
Pilot:
He sired Jourdette and is one of the top ranking sires with a jumping index of
193 points wining in excess of 1.7 million DM. He was known as the progenitor of
the nineties, the stallion.

Cor
de la bryere: He appears three times in the first six generations of
Zubin-R’s pedigree. This stallion ranks 2nd in the world and in the
German jumping index. He has winnings in excess of 2 million DM, has over
50approved sons and daughters. He is also the sire of Chin Chin who achieved 6th
place in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. At the 1992 Barcelona Olympics Clinton won
individual 4th place at the 2004 Athens Olympics and Burgraaf in 1991
jumped at Brabant puissance, clearing the wall at 2.10m.
Fabionne:
Zubin-R’s dam is the no.1 mare in the UK and has competed at Z level
dressage. She has produced nine foals with Zubin-R her 7th foal. She
has progeny competing at 1.3m and 1.4m in
Holland. and also on the light tour. In 2007 she produced
the top KWPN dressage foal Ciroc-R who also gained a first premium in the 2007
futurity dressage foal section.
Pion:
Sire of Fabionne he is one of the foremost pillars of Dutch dressage, claiming 8th
place in the world as a dressage progenitor. This impressive sire also jumped
internationally with Rob Ehrens. Pion is also the sire of Aklion, Remember and
Democrat who is ridden by Anky van Gunsven. Democrat has a dressage index of 193
(67%) and is in 3rd place behind Cocktail and Vincent. Cocktail is
the famous Jazz stallion of the year 2007. Pion inherited his dressage genes
from his dam
Irma
la douce: Pion’s dam who ranks 97th in the Dutch mare breeding
index had produced dressage horses Lieutenant General and Merano.
Epigoon:
sire of Irma la Douce can be found twice in Fabionnes blood lines and is
the product of the famous preferent stallion Amar.
Amar:
He is one of the foundation stallions of modern Dutch breeding. He has produced
great sport horses such as the keur stallion Animo, Kroongraaf, farmer,
Inspekteow, Jet Set D. Jet Set D is the sire of our very own Pro Set!!
Abgar is
the sire of Pion and is one of the few Keur thoroughbred stallions (British
bred) with Owen Tudor xx – Hypericon stallions you may recognise. He has many
ranking mare lines to his name Keur pref mare Utopia ranking 12th
Zermie ranking 26th and Amelusieing ranking 49th in mare
breeding index. Of course we could not fail to mention Civla who is the dam of Houston.
Doruto:
Preferent stallion and is the unsurpassed producer of grand prix dressage horses
such as Ideaal. Ideaal individual silver medal winner, 1986 world cup and 1987
individual bronze medal winner European cup goodwood ridden by Johann Hinnermann.
Johann regularly holds clinics here in the UK. Doruto blood
is rare but sought after and can be found in horses such as OO Seven,
Monticristo and the Keur stallion Farrington.
It is without doubt Zubin-R comes from a long line of world
class progenitors. Four sires in top ten rankings in the world, four Olympic
horses and a no. 1 dam. There are countless predikaats within the pedigree along
with his own achievement in August 2007. He has also produced a son – Ciroc-R -
out of a Shaab mare who also scored highly at the futurity obtaining a first
premium with a score of 8.38.

you. Zubin-R bred in the purple by River Stud the proof has been set out before
you.
Pedigree
Zubin-R, the son of Lupicor ( lux-z )
comes from fantastic Dutch breeding which goes back 5 generations. Lupicor's
sire Lux-z was one of the most successful sire's for Jerry Smit and participated
in the 2000 Syndey Olympics,and won the Pulsar Crown competions in Valkenswarrd
and Cannes.
Zubin-R is also closley related to other fantastic competion horses including
Pilot, Lord Colando,Ahorn,Pion , and Cor de la Bryere. Zubin-R’s mother Fabionne
is the 2007 National Champion (brood mare class) as she has produced two
National Champions.

Performance
Zubin-R is one of the most exciting
young stallions available in the UK. His performance to date is unrivalled: In
2007 Zubin-R clinched the top scores of the BEF 2007 Futurity competition, with
9.5 for type, 9.5 for conformation, 9.75 for correctness of gait and the perfect
10 for athleticism giving him an average score of 9.5. He stood took the
National Overall Champion title, with the highest scores across all three
disciplines. In 2008 Zubin-R will be competing BSJA.

Progeny
Though bred from very lightly so far,
Zubin-R seems to pass his qualities onto his stock, with his 3 month old son out
of a TB mare being awarded a BEF Diploma for the potential eventer class.
